Mask Update from LCU: August 4, 2021

Posted on August 4, 2021

Dear Members,

In response to the growing number of COVID-19 cases mainly due to the Delta Variant, both the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State of Massachusetts have revised their guidance regarding masks.  This is being done to maximize individuals’ protection and to help prevent the spread of the virus to others.   The CDC now recommends all individuals – both fully vaccinated and unvaccinated to wear masks indoors in geographic locations where there is substantial community spread. Worcester County is now categorized as having a substantial transmission rate.  As of July 30th, the State is advising fully vaccinated individuals to wear a mask indoors if they have a weakened immune system or are at an increased risk due to an underlying medical condition or age.  As the health and safety of our members and employees remains our number one priority, All One Credit Union strongly encourages members and employees to follow this new guidance, especially when you are not able to socially distance.

We always welcome you into our branches, but please remember that we also offer 24/7 Online and Mobile Banking, Automated Telephone Banking (MEL) and ATMs. You can utilize online banking and the LCU Mobile App to check balances, make payments, transfer funds, or deposit checks. If you haven’t enrolled in Online and Mobile Banking, we encourage you to do so. Please call our Member Service Center at 800-649-4646 who will be happy to assist with the enrollment process.

We ask that everyone, vaccinated or unvaccinated to remember to be kind, patient and respectful as we continue to navigate through the unknown.  We will continue to do our part to keep both our members and employees safe and we thank you for your continued loyalty.

All One Credit Union partners with Campus Bound to Benefit Leominster High

Posted on June 25, 2021

All One Credit Union (LCU) presented a check for $5,000 to the Campus Bound Program to benefit Leominster High School (LHS) students. Campus Bound is a team of experienced and passionate college counseling professionals working in conjunction with the Leominster High School Guidance Department, who together are dedicated to helping students successfully navigate the road to college. All One Credit Union is passionate about assisting students with financial literacy and helping to meet their college goals.

“As a community based financial institution, we look for opportunities to engage and partner with organizations who offer products and services to the communities we serve. Campus Bound offers a much-needed comprehensive solution, given the rising costs associated with attending college. As a sponsor to this program, we are assisting local students with the opportunity to access resources to help them navigate and attain entry to great schools, find solutions to reduce college expenses and minimize debt,” said Barbara Mahoney, President & CEO, All One Credit Union.

Campus Bound is committed to helping students of all achievement levels create strong applications and discover their best-fit schools. Counselors collaborate frequently, ensuring that all of the students receive the most up-to-date information and make the best decisions as they navigate the college search, application, and decision process.

“It has been a pleasure helping the LHS community as they work to navigate the financial challenges that a college education presents. The engagement of the students and parents has been amazing. LCU’s sponsorship has resulted in students having a lower cost of college and increased opportunities,” stated Gregg Cohen, President of Campus Bound.

“Leominster High School is ecstatic to partner with Campus Bound to provide our students an opportunity to get a true understanding of the financial aspect of a college education. The commitment that Campus Bound and All One Credit Union shows to this community make this program a valued part of our college search process,” said Steven Dubzinski, Leominster High School Principal.

All One Credit Union Partners with Fitchburg High School for Financial Literacy

Posted on March 24, 2021

All One Credit Union (LCU) has partnered with Fitchburg High School to supplement their math classes with a Financial Literacy section regarding personal finance. The personal finance course includes units on checking, savings, managing credit, types of credit, saving for college, budgeting and much more! The classes run for 40 minutes and are taught rotating both in-person and virtually, engaging with over 100 students. The classes are taught by LCU employees Brittany Haley, Waldemar Agostini and Daisy Casiano in conjunction with Katie Najjar.

“At LCU we hope to continue to foster this new relationship with Fitchburg High School, faculty and students and in the future hope to expand this curriculum to additional schools within our community. We want to provide financial education to students and families to improve their skills, boost their confidence and help them achieve success,” said Katie Najjar, SVP Retail, All One Credit Union.

“Introducing financial literacy has been a welcomed opportunity for Fitchburg High School students.  Students need to be versed in the core curriculum and practical everyday life skills such as being financially literate.  Learning about budgeting, money, and finances can impact student futures and quality of life. We are happy to work with LCU in offering these options for our students,” stated Josie D’Elia, Fitchburg High School, Guidance Counselor.
