Free Mortgage Info Sessions

All One Credit Union (LCU) is holding free Mortgage Info Sessions at each branch location beginning Wednesday, March 4, – April 1, 2020. Sessions will be held from 6:00pm – 7:00pm. Visit www.leominstercu.com/homes for branch locations and dates.

These LCU Mortgage Info Sessions will address the specific needs of most homebuyers including first-time buyers, buyers moving after owning for several years, or buyers entering the market after having credit issues in the past. Attend the session and meet LCU Loan Officers, local realtors, attorneys, home inspectors and LCU Financing Specialists who will answer questions regarding the home buying process and what to expect. Topics will include: buying, refinancing, downsizing, second homes, investments, the application process, purchase and sales, inspections, and benefits of borrowing locally.

Matt Dufault, AVP Residential Lending commented, “These seminars provide the basics of buying a home, but also the opportunity to establish a plan for home ownership based on your personal situation.”

LCU has programs available for not only for first-time homebuyers, but for any buyer who needs help getting mortgage-ready. Borrowers may be able to qualify for a mortgage much sooner than they expect.

Kelli J. Rooney Promoted to SVP, Community Engagement and Marketing

All One Credit Union (LCU) has announced the promotion of Kelli J. Rooney to the position of Senior Vice President, Community Engagement and Marketing. For the last year and a half, Rooney has been the Vice President of Marketing. In this newly created role, Rooney will lead LCU’s strategic relationship development, community engagement, advocacy and marketing.  She will focus on strengthening the LCU brand and establishing collaborative opportunities while continuing to manage our marketing programs.

“Kelli is a great fit for this role,” said LCU President John O’Brien. “She has done a great job leading our marketing efforts and is very involved in the communities we serve.  She is well known and respected and is always an advocate for our members and communities. Partnering our marketing and community involvement efforts will be a win-win for LCU and our member communities.”

Rooney serves as a board member for the Leominster Education Foundation, the Monty Tech Foundation, and the Beacon of Hope Community Services, an organization that is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of individuals with developmental disabilities. She also serves on the Young Professionals of North Central Massachusetts Committee and the Cooperative Credit Union Association’s Social Responsibility Committee. She is a North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and a member of the Montachusett Area Rotary Club. Rooney holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Framingham State University and a Master of Science Degree in Applied Communication Studies from Fitchburg State University. Rooney resides in Leominster with her husband Chuck and their daughter Raegan.

Fall Shred-A-Thon scheduled for September 14, 2019

All One Credit Union will hold a Shred-A-Thon at its 910 West Boylston Street, Worcester, MA location on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 9:00AM – Noon.

Members and non-members can get rid of old, sensitive documents by shredding and recycling them at the Shred-A-Thon. All items will be shred on site by a secure shredding service, New England Security Shredders.

Members of the community can bring up to three legal size file boxes or three 13-gallon kitchen trash bags to be shred for free. However, we will be accepting donations to Habitat for Humanity during the event. The Shred-A-Thon helps raise awareness about recycling and of course the importance of shredding personal documents to protect against identity theft.

Important documents to bring to the Shred-A-Thon include bank statements, tax returns, medical bills, credit card statements and other personal documents.

All One Credit Union Donates Books to Local Organizations

For the nineteenth consecutive year, All One Credit Union was pleased to participate in Children’s Book Month, an annual event sponsored by the Cooperative Credit Union Association.

During the month of April LCU members and employees collected donations of 1,161 new and used children’s books.  The books were distributed to Leominster Community Coalition, MOC (Child Care and Head Start Center), Sunrise Assisted Living, Fitchburg Public Schools and the Boys and Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster.

All One Credit Union holds Annual Meeting and Election of Officers to the Board of Directors

The Annual Meeting of All One Credit Union was held April 16, 2019 at the Credit Union’s Executive and Operations Building in Leominster.

The President’s report presented the financial highlights for 2018. Total assets ending 2018 increased to $706.5 million from $676.9 million at the end of 2017. LCU is ranked as the 15th largest credit union in Massachusetts. LCU’s loan portfolio remains strong increasing from $487.7 million in 2017 to $527.2 million in 2018.

Following the Annual Meeting, the Board of Directors met and elected officers for 2019-2020.

Michael J. Sauvageau, Chairman of the Board. Sauvageau has been on the Board since 2007. Sauvageau serves on LCU’s Executive, Credit and Investment Committees.

Giulio G. Greco, Vice Chair. Greco has served as Chairman from 1994-1998 and again from 2008-2011. He currently serves on the Executive and Audit Committees. Greco has served on the Board since 1978.

Nancy L. Graves, Treasurer. Graves serves on the Executive, Credit, Investment, and Advisory Committees. She has served on the LCU Board of Directors since 2004.

Joyce A. LaFleur, Assistant Treasurer. LaFleur serves on the Executive, Audit, Investment, and Advisory Committees. LaFleur has served on the Board since 2007.

Joseph V. Quintal, Clerk. Quintal serves on Executive, Audit, Compensation and Advisory Committees. Quintal has served on the Board since 2006.

Joining the officers on the 2019-2020 Board of Directors are, Amedeo E. Bilotta, Bruce J. Bollivar, Joyce G. Leger, Henry C. Kulik, Jr., and Richard A. Sheppard.

All One Credit Union Holding Annual Book Drive

All One Credit Union is joining credit unions throughout Massachusetts to collect new and gently used books during the month of April in collaboration with the Cooperative Credit Union Association Annual Book Drive. The books will be donated to local organizations providing an educational resource for many children. Books may be dropped off at any All One Credit Union Office by April 30, 2019.
