Helpful Tips If You are Having Trouble Updating Your Android Phone/Mobile App
If your Android phone doesn’t have an available update, please check your settings to manually search for updates, as your device might not be automatically notifying you. If no updates are found, it could mean your operating system is outdated and could lead to security vulnerabilities.
How to check for updates on your Android:
- Go to Settings: Open your phone’s settings app.
- Search for Software update: Find the “System” or “About Phone” section and then select “Software update”.
- Check for updates: Tap “Download and install” to see if any updates are available.
Possible reason why your Android might not have an update:
Outdated device: Phones may reach the end of their updated lifecycle, meaning no further updates will be released by the manufacturer. If your phone is no longer receiving updates, you may want to consider a newer model to ensure regular security patches and protections.
Security Vulnerabilities:
Missing updates can leave your phone exposed to security threats, cyber-attacks and malware.
Please note: if your App is not working, you can still login via the mobile browser and desktop versions.
